Do I need a visa to travel to Cyprus?
Visa exemptions for non-EU/EFTA nationals apply only for short stays, i.e. for less than 90 days. This easily covers the duration of the workshop.
What is the weather like in Cyprus?
In late October/early November, Cyprus is usually warm and sunny. The sea has retained its warmth after the hot summer, so you can still swim. Rain is usually not expected. However, since the evenings can also get a little cooler, it is recommended to pack both light and cool clothing.
How long should my talk be?
For students and postdocs, 15 minutes + 5 minutes for questions.
What is the cost for registration?
The fee for the F&C Workshop amounts to 125 Euro and paid via the main event page: https://2025.einnconference.org/. The fee covers a conference dinner, lunches, and coffee breaks. A late registration fee of 145 Euro will be charged after August 31, 2025.
