Description
The Future Circular Collider: Status and Physics Potential
A large infrastructure is currently being evaluated at CERN in Geneva: the FCC (Future Circular Collider), which could be operational after the completion of the LHC/HL-LHC program. The FCC would open up scenarios for the exploration of the Standard Model of fundamental interactions (and its possible extensions) with unprecedented levels of precision and/or effective collision energy. In this presentation, the strengths of the different stages of the FCC infrastructure and their physics potential will be summarized and highlighted.
