DESCRIPTION:Speakers: ... ... (...)\, Walter Raniero (Istituto Nazionale d
i Fisica Nucleare)\, Juergen Eberth (University of Cologne)\, Daniel Ricar
do Napoli (Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare)\, Herbert Ewald Hess (IK
P)\n\nAs a result of the  Hands-on Training on Operation\, Test and Repai
rs of Hyper Pure Ge Detectors 2024\, finished in Sept 7th 2024 we are prop
osing now the creation of a Community of HPGe Experts as Spin-off of the w
orkshop. This survey is the first phase of this activity.\nThe first phase
of this proposal is a Survey that we are distributing among the participa
nts to the Hands-On Workshop to evaluate:\n\nthe Hands-On 2024 and propose
improvements for the next one\;\nthe interest of the Expert's in creating
this community\;\nto find the best instruments for creating this HPGe Com
munity\;\nabout the present situation of the HPGe Dets Labs at ten years o
f the EGAN (EU Seventh Framework Programme - FP7) Survey on Detector Maint
enance and Repair Capabilities\, 2012.\n\nNOTE: you can withdraw from this
group just by going to the Registration Section in the left side Menu or
you can also invite other interested people to join this HPGe Community\n\
nAbout the Hands-on workshop 2024\nThe Instrumentation and Training for N
uclear Spectroscopy and Reaction Dynamics (InTraNS Task 2.5 - C5 of EURO-
LABS) has taken the challenge of providing expertise for an optimal employ
ment of the experimental setups for nuclear spectroscopy and nuclear react
ions available in the Europe. \nIn the framework of these training activi
ties\, the INTRANS Scientific Committee have proposed the  Hands-on Trai
ning on Operation\, Test and Repairs of Hyper Pure Ge Detectors 2024\, add
ressed specially to physicists\, technologists and technicians involved in
operation\, maintenance and repairing of any type of gamma HPGe detectors
. \nThe aim of that training was to exchange the knowledge already availa
ble in the community\, summarizing problems and solutions for the differen
t types of high resolution gamma ray Ge detectors\, running today in Europ
e\, i.e. from single tapered crystals to AGATA clusters. This exchange wi
ll help also to the consolidation of the community of experts on HPGe Dete
ctors in Europe\, as an additional goal for this Hands-on Training.\nThis
training activity was a continuation of similar workshops organized in the
framework of Nuspin\, a network activity of ENSAR2\, in 2018 at Cologne a
 nd in 2019 in Liverpool.\n\nhttps://agenda.infn.it/event/43370/
