# The E8 x E8 theory of unification, experimental consequences, and ongoing tests of collapse models

Description

In the recently proposed octonionic theory of unification, each of the two E8 groups branches into four SU(3)s upon the electroweak symmetry breaking. This gives rise to six forces, three of which are the standard model SU(3)_c x SU(2)_L x U(1)_Y. The other three forces have the symmetry SU(3)_grav x SU(2)_R x U(1)_YDEM. Of these, SU(2)_R is the precursor of gravitation, and the U(1) is a dark matter candidate, whereas SU(3)_grav is a newly predicted chromo-gravity'. A 6D spacetime is predicted in which the two additional dimensions are time-like, and supra-quantum non-local Bell correlations arise. We also postdict the strange observed mass ratios of quarks and charged leptons. Quantum theory and collapse models are shown to be emergent from underlying deterministic non-unitarydynamics. Our theory can in principle predict the spectrum of the noise field of collapse models, currently being tested in various laboratories.
