Public transport in Cagliari

Inside Cagliari, public transport is mostly handled by CTM. They have an app for smartphones called BusFinder [Android and Apple] with all the bus stops, lines, and timetables. You can also buy the tickets on the app.

Workshop location

The Workshop will take place at the Physics Department of the University of Cagliari, located in the Cittadella Universitaria in Monserrato.

In the following, you can see the Cittadella Universitaria. The red circle indicates the bus stop of the buses 8, 29 or U_EX. To reach the Physics Department you should follow the green line. For those that arrive by car, you can find parking lots in front of the Physics department.

Here we provide a list of potential hotels in the city center in which you can stay. Unfortunately, the city center does not have large hotels, but most of the listed ones are not more than 200 m away from each other.

In the following, we list some hotels in the city center:

Hotel Italia (***)

The city center also offers several options for other types of accommodation such as Airbnb.

From the city center, the best way to reach the Physics Department is by taking the bus n. 8 (direction Policlinico Universitario).
