 iew\nThis Conference serve as a forum of informal exchange of knowledge fo
 r scientists from different subject areas where the use\, the production\,
  the investigation or the measurements performed making use of isotopes\, 
 radionuclides and nuclear radiation are contributing significantly to the 
 technical progress.\nICI conferences have been held since 1995 (every 2-3 
 years). They are organized by the World Council on Isotopes (WCI) and a p
 articipating organization to highlight the importance of nuclear science\,
  medicine\, and technology in advancing human health and protection of the
  environment.\nThe ICI series over the years heve been hosted in:\n1st IC
 I\, Beijing\, China\, 1995\n2nd ICI\, Sydney\, Australia\, 1997\n3rd ICI\,
  Vancouver\, Canada\, 1999\n4th ICI\, Cape Town\, South Africa\, 2002\n5th
  ICI\, Brussels\, Belgium\, 2005 (the only European edition to date)\n6th 
 ICI\, Seoul\, Korea\, 2008\n7th ICI\, Moscow\, Russia\, 2011\n8th ICI\, Ch
 icago\, USA\, 2014\n9th ICI\, Doha\, Qatar\, 2017\n10th ICI\, Kuala Lumpur
 \, 2020\n11th ICI\, Saskatoon\, Canada\, 2023\n\nNow\, nearly two decades 
 after its only European occurrence\, the ICI returns to Europe — and for
  the first time\, to Italy.Florence\, a city synonymous with scientific le
 gacy and cultural heritage\, is honored to host the 12th edition of ICI.\n
