Summary
47Sc is a promising theranostic radionuclide that presents suitable decay characteristics for SPECT imaging and β− therapy, that can be also paired with the β+ emitter counterparts 43Sc and 44Sc for PET applications. A comparison of different proton and deuterons production routes is discussed, considering yield and radionuclidic purity, in order to identify the best production parameters. Besides, dosimetric simulations are performed to evaluate the impact of radioisotopic impurities.
