Summary
The 99MoBest project is an innovative accelerator-based production concept for national scale 99Mo production. The concept is developed in an iterative process to balance considerations regarding neutronics, chemical postprocessing, engineering and radiation protection. This talk aims to present the radiation protection aspects, regarding bulk production of activation products, handling and decomissioning concerns.
