Summary

This study proposes a revised dose-response model that incorporates biomarkers of adaptive responses to low-dose ionizing radiation. Results indicate threshold-like protective effects at very low doses and a shift toward LNT-type risks at higher exposures. These findings challenge current radiation protection assumptions and support the development of more evidence-based regulatory frameworks.
