INDIGO IAM developers community meeting
This meeting is dedicated to the community of INDIGO IAM developers. INDIGO IAM has been developing at INFN-CNAF since 2016. Having realized from the recent IAM Hackathon that there is the interest on extending the contributes, we decided to start having this community meeting. This meeting will start with people from INFN-CNAF and STFC but everyone who is interested on contributing is welcome!
Meeting started at 11:30 UTC
The main discussion was related to the linked presentation. The presentation is an overview/intro to developers that would like to start contributing to INDIGO IAM. Also some details about IAM v1.8.3 next release have been discussed.
Next meeting has been scheduled on Friday 27th October due to italian holidays but these meetings has been agreed to be bi-weekly (+ some dedicated ones on demand).
Homework for the new ones or the ones interested about joining developments :)
- subscribe mailing list iam-support@lists.infn.it
- choose one (or more? :)) topics you’re interested - from IAM issues or from the activities listed in the slides
- try to git clone and build/run IAM locally and report problems
- get a lightweight CERN account (if you don't have one) here https://account.cern.ch/account/Externals/ in order to be added to internal Mattermost chats (e.g. https://mattermost.web.cern.ch/indigo-iam/channels/support)
