The 2023 Front-end Electronics workshop is the 12th of a series of very productive meetings where the best researchers of the world present the state of the art in the field. The meeting has a strong focus on full custom ASIC design. Technical sessions are geared toward HEP experiments, astrophysics, particle physics, medical imaging, photon science, and CMOS monolithic active pixel sensors. As microsystems have gotten denser, new packaging solution and interposer technologies are required and have a special interest. Also, more experiments require cryogenic electronics, where the front-end is actually installed inside the noble liquid (Ar, Xe) and this opens the door to brand-new challenges such as interposer/ASIC electronic supports, having different thermal expansion coefficients. Circuits with very fast timing capabilties are becoming more and more critical for future applications in the field. The potential impact on front-end ASICs of new technological developments such as silicon photonics, artificial intelligence and quantum technologies is also of interest and will be covered in the talks.

Presentations are by invitation only. A limited number of qualified persons can be admitted upon request to assist to the talk. The workshop is in presence only.
