VERTEX 2023 - 32nd International Workshop on Vertex Detectors
Sestri Levante
The 32nd International Workshop on Vertex Detectors is organised by the INFN - Sezione di Genova in Sestri Levante, a beautiful village on the Ligurian Coast.
The annual series of the International Workshop on Vertex Detectors (VERTEX) is an international forum with the aim of reviewing the recent, the ongoing, and the future activities on silicon based vertex detectors, covering a wide range of topics: existing and future detectors, new detector developments, radiation hardness, simulation, tracking and alignment performance, electronics, triggering, applications to medical and other fields.
The Workshop will start on Monday at 9am and will finish on Friday at 1pm.
On Wednesday afternoon ther will be time for excursions. The poster session is scheduled on Monday afternoon. The social dinner on Tuesday evening.
Some optional excursions will be organized on Wednesday 18th October, more information is available at this link. A survey for the choice of the excursion, already open at this link, will be circulated in due time and will be followed by payment instructions.
The next edition of the VERTEX workshops will be on August 25th – 29th, 2025 in Knoxville (TN, USA)
