Description
The first results from ALICE experiment at LHC are presented from Pb-Pb collisions at ¢ÂsNN = 2.76 TeVand from pp collisions at various LHC energies. In particular, soft observables have been extensively studied, and a selection of hard physics topics has also been investigated. In the case of the Heavy Ion collisions, the measurements of the particle multiplicity, collective flow, Bose-Einstein correlations, high-momentum suppression, and their dependence on the collision centrality obtained in the 2010 run will be summarized and the perspectives for 2011 data taking will be shortly discussed.
