Title: Light sterile neutrinos at the end of 2022

Abstract: In this talk I discuss the current status of searches for light sterile neutrinos. The existence of light sterile neutrinos was motivated by the so-called Gallium anomaly, the reactor antineutrino anomaly, and the anomalous appearance signal observed in the LSND experiment. I present new analyses of neutrino oscillation data, focusing first on new results from νe disappearance experiments, in particular Gallium, reactor and solar experiments and KATRIN. Next I will also discuss briefly searches in νμ disappearance experiments and νe appearance experiments, giving a general overview of the results as of 2022.
