CALO software and analysis

Europe/Rome

N. Mori reports on the implementation of the IsCMOS digitization in Herd Software (see slides). Preliminary calibration parameters based on 2017 BT have been used. The current status is not suitable for production of flight model data/simulations. In fact,  the purpose of this activity is to define the software environment to host the digitization algorithm. As of today, the software environment and its implementation are ready to be scaled up to the flight model once the updated calibration parameters from future BT will be inserted in the ChannelInfo objects and additional missing features (e.g., crosstalk, non linearities, ...) will be consolidated.

A grayscale -> GeV calibration is on the to-do list to enable physics analysis based on IsCMOS readout.

N. Mori also reminds that the C++ code received and used for the IsCMOS readout implementation in HS is a translation from an original code in Python. It would be useful to have access to the original code for cross-check purposes. Z. Tang will ask Z. Quan (author of the original code).
