Description

Dark matter at the high mass frontier

As the search for dark matter continues, there are many models which predict dark matter is a very massive particle or composite state. Discovering dark matter at the high mass frontier will require new approaches. I will detail recently developed astrophysical searches, including looking for dark matter that forms black holes in the sun and earth, dark matter that makes white dwarfs explode, and how neutron stars can be used to search for dark matter residing predominantly in subhalos.

The Seminar will be held online on Zoom.
