DS Material Weekly Meeting 17/05/2022 (L. Luzzi) - Status of the assay campaign 1. Iza: Matias finalized the measurement of resistors and data are already in the database; 2. Kracow have received two sets of PCB boards, one from Iza and one from Daria. Aarlon from Daria has the priority. It would be good if Tomazs send an email to Gemma, Paolo Organtini and other people to inform them about the status and general information about this. Tomazs tomorrow will start the measurement of the “positive” PCB (the standard one), considering that the comparison whit the "negative" one can be done since the results of the measurement of that board are already in the database.; 3. LSC: Assay of solder paste has been finalize and Vicente will send that to Birmingham; 4. There is a piece of acrylic sent to LSC for assay and it is now out of the detector and people there don't know how to do with that. Let’s talk offline about this because anybody from Genova is connected today. - Gamma – nucleus interaction Daria presentation: first extimation of gamma flux from energy deposits (Plan C); New simulation including kinetic energy and investigation of individual gammas for plan C. Put everything in the internal note, also results of plan A. - Uncertainty of neutron yields Gosia made a presentation: Uncertainty of neutron yields due to material composition. - ESR surface contamination plans We discussed a couple of times this topic: we should have a dedicated meeting only for this, because it is very important. - Vessel background (news if any) No news, maybe for the next week. - We are going to have the collaboration meeting in the early of june. We have to discuss and organize the material section. Is it possible to have the background call on Friday 27th of May, at 3 p.m. CEST? Let’s talk offline about this.
