A global project for the future linear collider

ABSTRACT

IWLC2010 (October 18-22), a workshop on linear colliders organized by ECFA, is the first event with full participation of CLIC and ILC projects on machine and detector aspects. Impressive progresses and synergies between the two projects were reported. This workshop represents an important step towards a consistent approach towards a global strategy for the construction of a worldwide linear collider based on LHC/Tevatron results and technological developments.
