Description

COSINE-100 is a NaI-based dark matter detection experiment based at the Yangyang Underground Laboratory in South Korea. By searching for an annual modulation signal in NaI crystals, COSINE-100 aims to provide a model-independent test of the long-standing but contested positive dark matter signal from experiments by the DAMA collaboration using the same target material and search method. In this talk preliminary results from approximately five years of data taking at COSINE-100 will be presented, summarising various dark matter search efforts, with a focus on preliminary results from five years of annual modulation searches.
