For the construction of CGEM_IT L3 at IHEP, we discussed with specialists on upgrade of the clean room that is currently used for CGEM testing. 

The room can be expanded from original 50 m2 (5*10) to about 75 m2 (12*5.5 + 9), and the minimum cost is increased from 300 k ( for 50 m2 )to about 450k RMB (for 75 m2 ). 

The expanded clean room includes two buffer rooms, an air shower room and working room. 

The schematic diagram of the upgraded clean room is shown in the attached drawings.


The key parameters are as follows:

1) Total area: 75 m2. Height: 3.3 m

2) The working area is static class 1000, and the buffer rooms and the air shower room are class 10000.

3) The room has only temperature control module. The temperature can be set from 20 to 24 ˚C with an accuracy of ±3 ˚C

4) The working room can be separated by transparent curtains. Two gas paths will be arranged in each area
