Minute of eco gas meeting September 9
- Gianluca presented results of EPDT chamber in laboratory after the fix of the chamber discharges.
He presented HV scan of the ecogas mix1 and mix2. Anyway with ecogasmix2 the chamber started to show instability (probably due to to insulation layers added). Analysis of the issue is ongoing before putting back the chamber on the trolley.
- Problem with webdcs - we will contact Jan to reset the system and to solve the issue
- Luca will do an HV scan of the cable used to power the ALICE chamber.
- we will start again the standard gas mixture in the chambers as soon as webdcs will be fixed.
- Gianluca reminded that GIF++ will be shutdown for one week from 21 to 27 September
- Some CO2 mass flowmeter has been found in LNF, we will need to understand if they are still good (almost old devices) and if the readout connector is compatible with our system. Davide quell check.
- Luca reported that in Torini the money for the trolley will be available at the end of September. By that date they need to know dimensions of chambers (sizes and thickness including fronte end electronics) .. Please all of us will have to send these informations by end of September.
- Next meeting (23 of September) will be dedicated to start a discussion on a common readout and DAQ. Please let’s try to be present with ideas for our detector.
