We discuss the low energy excitations of nuclear and quark matter at low temperature and high baryonic density.
We focus on two distinct oscillations: the radial oscillations of compact stars and the hydrodynamic phonon-like oscillations of quark matter. For the radial oscillations we present a novel procedure for the evaluation of the stellar deformation. In both cases we map our results to a gravity analog model for the description of the propagation of the low energy oscillations in a dense medium.
