Call for Abstracts

Conference attendees wishing to present their work orally during the plenary sessions are requested to submit an abstract to the conference. No poster sessions will be organized. In order to encourage visibility of younger researchers, only plenary sessions are scheduled. The IV Geant4 International User Conference 2022 congress programme will include selected oral communications the following topics:

• Imaging
• Radiotherapy treatments
• Protontherapy
• Hadrontherapy
• Radiobiology, including Geant4-DNA
• Radiation Protection
• Detector development
• Computing

Main rules:
Abstracts must be submitted, using the congress template (Abstract Template), through the on-line congress submission system. Abstracts will be reviewed by the IV Geant4 International User Conference 2022 Scientific Committee members.
Authors can indicate the most appropriate topic for their work as well as their preferred method of presentation. The IV Geant4 International User Conference 2022 Scientific Committee reserves the right to reassign the accepted paper to a more appropriate session and/or method of presentation.
For inclusion in the congress programme, at least one (co)author per abstract needs to be registered for the IV Geant4 International User Conference 2020.
Maximum of two submissions are allowed per person as the first author.

Abstract submission opens: 18 May 2022
Abstract submission deadline: 15 July 2022

Conference attendees will have the possibility to submit their presented work(s) as full peer-reviewed regular paper(s) (not proceedings) for publication in a focus issue of the European Journal of Medical Physics - Physica Medica (Elsevier).

The submission window for papers will be from November 1st, 2022 till January 31st, 2023, on the this submission website.
