NOTICE: LEAPS meets QT Conference POSTPONED TO MAY 15 - 22, 2022

Dear colleagues
In view of the evolution of the COVID-19 disease, we have decided to postpone the Conference "LEAPS meets Quantum Technology" to a new date: May 15 - 22, 2022. Among the reasons for this decision, let me mention reinforcing the prevention, taking into account the foreseen difficulties for traveling in the next future around Europe, and avoiding losing part of the fees.
I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and I want, on behalf of LEAPS, warmly thank you for all the work you have dedicated up to now to the success of this first LEAPS conference. Most of this work will directly apply to the event in the new date.
And I want to thank also the speakers who have given their availability for participating to the program, which looks extremely interesting. We strongly hope they all will be available for the future rescheduled conference.
My best wishes
Caterina Biscari

First biennial conference

LEAPS is the League of European Accelerator-based Photon Sources, a strategic consortium initiated by the Directors of the Synchrotron Radiation and Free Electron Laser (FEL) user facilities in Europe. Its primary goal is to actively and constructively ensure and promote the quality and impact of the fundamental, applied and industrial research carried out at their respective facility to the greater benefit of European science and society.

In this context LEAPS will organize in May 15 - 22, 2022 the first LEAPS Topical Conference aiming to bring together the latest achievements from the synchrotron radiation user community with those from source development and instrumentation. The focus of the first LEAPS Conference will be dedicated to the opportunities emerging from the Quantum Technologies R&D. This conference shall showcase where today and future synchrotron radiation contributes to the advancements of Quantum Technologies.

This Conference will be by invitation.
