Topological solitons, which play particularly important role in gauge field theories and in string theories, have come to play key roles in many areas of contemporary physics, from condensed matter physics, nuclear physics, high-energy physics to astrophysics and cosmology. Their relevance is constantly growing. The topics covered by this Workshop will include:  recent developments in the study of topological solitons, vortices and skyrmions; CP(N-1) and other sigma models;  and  generalized symmetries, higher-form gauging, mixed anomalies, and application of these to nonperturbative dynamics of four dimensional chiral and vector-like gauge theories. This is the second edition of the Workshop with the same title held in Pisa in July 2017. It is our aim to assess and discuss some of the exciting developments taking place in these and related fields.
Workshop Organizers:  Roberto Auzzi, Stefano Bolognesi, Kenichi Konishi.
Workshop Secretary: Lucia Lilli.
