How to form a dSph galaxy

I will review shortly the different models for the formation of dSph galaxies. We can differentiate three main pathways. One is the threshing and stripping scenario of larger systems. One is the pathway of in situ formation, i.e. they form as they appear now and the third possibility looks into a destroyed star cluster of tidal dwarf galaxy origin, i.e. without a DM halo.
