Travel Information

The town of Camogli is an ancient fisherman village and a well known tourist resort of the Golfo Paradiso. Camogli is located on the west side of peninsula of Portofino at about 30 km from Genova and can be easily reached by train or car. The hotel is located at walking distance from the train station and it has parking space for guests.

By Train

If you arrive by train to Genova (Genova Piazza Principe or Genova Brignole), you can take a local train to Camogli-San Fruttuoso. The trip takes approximately 20-30 min. and trains run every half an hour. You can check the train schedule through the website of the Italian Railroad company here.

The hotel is in 3 min. walk from the Camogli train station.

By car

Take highway A12 and use exit for Recco. Follow the directions for Camogli for about 3 km. Once you will be in Camogli, follow the directions for the Hotel Cenobio dei Dogi.

By plane (Genova Airport)

Genova is connected to several Italian cities, as Rome, and various European cities, as London, Munich and Paris. Check the airport web site for more details on the flight schedule. The airport is connected to the Genova Railway Station (Genova P. Principe) by bus or taxi. The airport bus will bring you to the Principe Railway Station in about 30 minutes and the ticket costs 6 Euros. A taxi ride from the airport to the station costs about 15 Euros and takes approximately 20 min. From the train station, you can reach Camogli following the instruction above. Other nearby airports are Milano (Malpensa and Linate) and Pisa. Reaching Camogli from Milano takes about 2 hours by car and 4 hours with public transportation. From Pisa, it will take about 1:30 hours by car and about 2-3 hours with public transportation.
