* WB discussed with the LSC Director about safety issues. The LSCD requested that the collaboration names a safety expert (SE) that helps preparing the documentation related to the ArDM recovery dewar operation, mandatory to operate it, as requested by the review panel. A engineering of the lead belt support, including safety aspects, will also be necessary. The SE will interface with the expert of the LSC, Javier Calvo.
action item: discussions are going on with the DS SpokesPerson to define the name of the SE.
* ES discussed status of the simulation. Most notably
1.new studies started on SIPM +FE response simulation integrating the software of AR.
2. new studies for 222Rn background. Considering only beta decays with the DEAP -like residual contaminations after sanding the yield is negligible compared to the backgrounds. Alphas are going to be studied as well.
action item: discuss with AR dedicated settings for our application
action item: make the light simulation for the new ArDm configuration to see what is the light yield.
* Material to be purchased: some updates of the table from ETHZ, CA proposed to purchase the DARt recovery dewar and the calibrated pressure gauge.
action item: next meeting will review the situation and assign missing items to the groups
*LR discussed new design for acrylic of DART
discussion: consensus was reached on filling DART through the thin pipe going down to the bottom
action items: LR will send a mail MK and to get feedback on acrylic material shape and AG
* AR (offline) said he will send CIEMAT (in a week or so) a mini-board with one SIPM and one with the FE (with feedback resistor /10) to do linearity tests in the lab. Design of the new board can be done only on mid Feb due to manpower shortage in LNGS.
question by RS: will this readout have faster rise-time than DS?
Next meeting:
LR will present integration studies. It would be good if we can freeze the DArT design by then: acrylic shape and size and length of copper tubes to start purchases.
request: Can LR send around the note on heater design?
Schedule needs to be discussed next week and in particular we should make plans on startup of the CERN activities.
