The Conference will take place at the University of Trieste, Building A, Sala Atti "Francesco Cacciaguerra" at the University Campus (indicated by the red roof in the map herafter). . Unless you wish to take a taxi, the simplest and cheapest way to reach the University campus is by bus. The bus number 17/ connects the Railway Station to the University campus, whereas the bus 17 connects the square Piazza della Borsa (very close to Piazza Unità d'Italia) to the University campus passing through downtown Trieste. The buses are run by the company Trieste Trasporti and you can find route plans and timetables here. Please remark that you need to buy bus tickects at tobacco shops or newsstands before boarding the bus and you need to stamp them as soon as you are on-board. The usual bus ticket is valid for one hour (unlimited number of rides).
