Description
Many precision measurement at LHC and other colliders include the measurements of cross section differential in transverse momentum. I consider here the cases of Drell-Yan/Vector boson/Scalar boson production when they are differential in the transverse momentum of the intermediate boson. I also discuss the case of Semi-Inclusive Deep Inelastic Scattering which is relevant for the future Electron Ion Collider. I will show how the non-perturbative QCD physics is encoded in Transverse Momentum Dependent Distributions (or TMDs) and how one can can compare different experiments using the properties of the double-scale evolution of these quantities.
