Description
The use of optical fibres in spectroscopy instrumentation is very common. The range of domains goes from analysis spectrographs in biology, medicine, physics up to astronomical applications. However linking a spectrograph with fibres requires a careful attention and mastering of parameters like throughput, focal radio degradation and scrambling properties. This presentation concentrates basically on the review of these last fibre properties. Two practical examples will be shown as well.
