The Italian Association of Physics Students (AISF) in collaboration with Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI) and Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso (LNGS) is pleased to announce
PAPAP17 - Particle and Astroparticle Physics Autumn Program
AISF is welcoming 40 students from all over the world for the third edition of Particle and Astroparticle Physics Autumn Program (PAPAP17), a four days journey from the endlessly small to the endlessly big. The event will be held in central Italy, between the cities of Rome and L’Aquila from the 9th to the 13th October, 2017. Students will visit some cutting-edge facilities in particle and astroparticle physics.
This Indico page is related to the event taking place at LNGS and GSSI. For more information please visit the official website http://www.ai-sf.it/papap17
LNGS is one of the four INFN national laboratories. It hosts experiments from the field of Astoparticle Physics, Nuclear Astrophysics, and other disciplines requiring a low background environment.
GSSI is an international PhD school and a center for advanced studies in physics, mathematics, computer science and social sciences.
The program will offer the unique possibility to overview the activity of both LNGS and GSSI.
The researchers will review the activity on Dark Matter, Double Beta Decay, Nuclear Astrophysics, Low Background facilities and of the Theory Group.
