Localization Techniques in Quantum Field Theory

I will try to give a pedagogical introduction into the localization techniques for supersymmetric gauge theories. These techniques allow us in certain situation to calculate the path integral exactly. I will illustrate the main ideas on the finite dimensional example and then consider the Chern-Simons theory as another example. I will finish by giving the short overview of the main results in the field.
