Description
Workshop on the Physics with the AGATA Demonstrator at Legnaro
The aim of this workshop is to have a preparatory meeting for the AGATA Demonstrator scientific proposals at LNL. The next LNL summer PAC at Legnaro, usually held in July with a deadline in June, will be the first to consider proposals involving the AGATA Demonstrator. It is therefore an opportune time to hold a second AGATA physics meeting to discuss further.
The meeting intends to give potential users the latest information on the likely performance of the AGATA Demonstrator and to discuss the beams and beam characteristics that are expected to be deliverable during the running period in 2009/10.
We would like to give potential users the chance to present updates on their physics plans, particularly elaborating on the technical details and requirements. We hope that this will stimulate discussions and debate that will enhance the quality of proposals subsequently submitted to the PAC Meeting, maximizing the chances of a productive and effective AGATA campaign at LNL.
