Description
After a brief introduction to the ideas and methods of the non-commutative geometry (NCG), we show how they can be applied to models with some preferred foliation of space-time. This is motivated by Horava-Lifshitz (HL) type theories that have attracted considerable attention recently. We argue that the techniques from NCG might provide a natural geometrical description of these models, as well as shed some light on the matter sector coupled to HL gravity.
