Description
We measured the kaonic helium-4 atoms 3d->2p x-rays energy and determined the strong interaction shift to be 2+-2(stat.)+-2(syst.) eV. Our precise result resolved the long-standing kaonic helium puzzle between theory and experiment. We used silicon drift detectors (SDDs) as x-ray detectors which produced by KETEK. This was the first time application of SDDs in the exotic atom field. The details of the experiment will be reported in this seminar.
