Description
In this talk I will explore the phenomenological consequences of the recently derived correction to the type IIB gravity action derived by Ciupke, Louis and Westphal. By combining different types of higher-order corrections to the action one can construct novel Starobinsky-type string inflation models yielding moderate tensor signal. I will discuss consistency constraints inherent to the string setup and provide explicit examples.
