Description
To investigate the presence of incomplete fusion (ICF) reactions at low projectile energies    (≈ 4-7 MeV/nucleon) for the light-heavy-ion (A ≤ 16) beams, several experiments were performed using 15UD Pelletron facility of Inter University Accelerator Centre, New Delhi. Excitation function(s), and spin-distribution(s) along with feeding intensity profile(s) of heavy reaction products were measured. Some of the interesting issues related to low energy ICF reactions viz., (i) the effect of entrance channel parameters on the onset and strength of ICF, (ii) the usefulness of ICF to populate high-spin states in final reaction products, (iii) the localization of the angular momentum window, etc will be discussed.
