This is the 2018 edition of a series of Italian National Meetings on Theoretical Physics known as "Convegni di Fisica Teorica di Cortona". The aim of this Conference, keeping its tradition, is to discuss some of the most recent exciting advances in many areas of theoretical physics, in the pleasant early-Summer atmosphere of a pretty Tuscan hill. A good participation of young researchers including graduate students and postdoc fellows, alongside more senior researchers, is one of the characteristics of this Meeting, which we will maintain. The program will be organized in plenary sessions with invited talks and parallel sessions with shorter presentations by the participants.

The special session of Saturday, May 26, will be dedicated to an overview on the future perspectives of high energy physics, with talks by M. Mangano, F. Ricci and F. Ferroni.
The afternoon session of Thursday, May 24, will include the presentation by S. Penati of the GenHET (Gender in High Energy Theory) working group, supported by Cern.
