Description
Primordial times host the birth of the first stars, galaxies and massive black holes and represent a crucial epoch for the understanding of currently known cosmological objects. State-of-the-art numerical simulations and up-to-date data will be employed to investigate the role of cosmic molecules and metals, early star formation, proto-galaxy assembly, as well as the formation path of early massive black holes. Results addressing the impacts of different assumptions for the background cosmological model and the nature of (cold vs. warm) dark matter will be presented to constrain the available parameter space and rule out non performing models.
