The ankle (log(E/eV) ⠌ 18.7) and the flux suppression (log(E/eV) ⠌ 19.5) in the energy spectrum have been undoubtedly established by HiRes, the Pierre Auger Observatory and Telescope Array. However, the astrophysical interpretation of these structures. In this talk, the details of the analysis of the main experiments will be reviewed and its interpretation explained. A common analysis of the TA and Auger Xmax measurements will be discussed and the agreement between the two data sets will be demonstrated.
