Description
In the course of the last three decades, the most basic traits of quantum mechanics, from coherence and superposition to entanglement and nonlocality, have come to be recognized as fundamental physical resources allowing for future and emerging quantum-enhanced technologies. In this general talk I will review the conceptual and mathematical framework of Quantum Resource Theory and will briefly discuss selected applications to quantum information and quantum matter.
