Description
A brief inspection will be provided to the foundations of statistical mechanics, both classical and quantum. We will especially focus on a few selected complex systems for which the traditional concepts introduced within Boltzmann-Gibbs statistical mechanics differ from those that satisfactorily apply to analytical, experimental and computational plethoric evidences.
