Step 1: Registration to Indico services - To be able to register you are required to previously become an Indico user. If you are an INFN associate you can enter with your INFN-AAI credentials that automatically qualify you also as an Indico user. This might be true also for other research organizations in various countries that are associated somehow to CERN, where the Indico system is maintained. If you are not an Indico user already, you must click on "Create a new account" below the "Login as external" area and follow the procedure. Once registered as an Indico user, you will be able to reuse your credentials for the present workshop as well as for any future conference using Indico software for registrations. The advantage is that you can change your registration or talk/abstract data in a second time in a secure web environment. Indeed, in the menu on your left, instead of "Registration form" a link "Modify my registration" will automatically appear after you have registered. If you are already registered as an Indico user from some previous conference, please use your exisiting credentials and skip this step.
Step 2: Registration as participant - By clicking on Registration form, please register here as participant.
Step 3: Talk or Poster - If you want to propose a talk or poster, after registering as participant, please go to the page Talks & Posters. The talk or poster title and abstract are modifyable later by accessing with your Indico credentials.
Step 4: Fees - Once you have registered, you are required to pay the registration fee, which is a contribution to the conference organization. It covers the expenses of invitation of some of the key speakers, the coffee breaks and other organization expenses. The social dinner and other possible social activities are in addition to these fees (see Social Events for details).
- For INFN staff or associates only: the payment of the registration fee will be done by internal INFN procedure. People travelling on INFN funds DO NOT have to fill the "Conference fee" section in the online INFN Travel Expenses Form (Modulo Missione). Instead, they will have to indicate, in the field Ulteriori Note of the above mentioned Form, that the conference fee will be paid by internal procedure by writing: La conference fee verrà pagata tramite storno fra sezioni. We suggest, in any case, to check with your local INFN administration what to write exactly on the form, as it may vary from one Section to another. For any problem, please contact the Conference Secretariat.
