      Data: transfer Muripper -> T2B

      • BLU - fully transferred

      Simulation:

      Transmission Map Comparison between Data and Calculation: the ratio in the Vesuvio's tip region gives values >> 1. Why?

      • Simulated/calculated data are too low --> unlikely
      • Muraves data are higher then expected --> It is very much possible: these data contains background, this could be the source of higher transmission values, consequently higher ratio.
      • It is a ratio between very small numbers --> This can also happens but it should happens rarely; this problem can be addressed by increasing the bin size, which now is quite small.

        This plot should be distributed around 1. Better plotting with color band that goes from 0 to 2, to actually see the entity of the problem. It is possible that now our attention is cought by just a few outliers.

      Feedback

      • Use just a part of the whole data set. This would allow to run test and compute things faster
      • 2D plots using larger bin (1x1 minimum, or 3x3 degree)


      To-do

      • Re-do Guan curve plot of Free Sky using new calculation from Gabor -> this should make the two curves even closer now.
      • Plot Mulder simulated data of VESUVIO *with* and *without* Multiple scattering
      • 1D Data transmission sliced at azimuth 180 degree
      • 2D Data transmission just for 50 runs, in the region that will be used to compute the ration with simulation, using larger bins.
      • Modify the z scale of the Ratio plot: change color bar so that it goes from 0 to 2 (for intance). In this way value between 0 and 1 will be blu and value bigger than 1 will be red.

      • Started implementing Snakemake flow that allows running scripts directly on T2B (T2B uses HTCondor for job submission, HTCondor jobs can be integrated with Snakemake)
