Description
I review the recent global QCD fits of unpolarized and polarized parton distribution functions by the CTEQ-JLab and JAM collaborations. Special attention is paid to incorporating data collected at low Q^2 and large x, where finite-Q^2 and nuclear corrections play a vital role. I then examine the impact on the valence $d$ and $\bar d-\bar u$ sea quark distributions of new structure function data from Jefferson Lab and $p\bar p$ scattering cross sections from Fermilab, and discuss the "large-x" interplay of nuclear and high-energy physics experiments to the benefit of both.
