CDF Physics at the Fermilab Collider

ABSTRACT

The history of the INFN groups in CDF up to the discovery of the top quark will be recalled. Thereafter, a number of important results obtained during the on-going run2 of the experiment will be reviewed, ranging from beauty quark to top quark to electroweak physics. Higgs boson searches will be described in some more detail, providing an update of the achieved upper limits to Higgs production and a critical discussion of expectations for discoveries in the future run 3.
