Description
ABSTRACT

Motivated by recent astrophysical observations, by PAMELA, ATIC, DAMA and other experiments, several phenomenological models have recently appeared in literature postulating the existence of a "dark" gauge sector weakly coupled with SM particles. All of them propose an explanation of the dark matter puzzle, involving the existence of one or several new gauge bosons of typical mass scale of 1 GeV. This gives rise to the possible detection of new physics signals at existing or future low energy facilities, such as DAFNE. A review of the various experimental possibilities is given, with emphasison what can be achived at LNF.
